Operating wells drilled at the largest gas field of Turkmenistan

22 operating wells have been drilled at the Galkynysh field, which is the second largest gas deposit in the world; most of them were completed by a test and gave a large influx of natural gas, the Turkmen Ministry of the Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources reports.
“All drilled wells will be tested before the end of the year, and the large flow of natural gas will go from underground storages to points of primary gas processing and then to gas treatment plants. But there are still wells at the field, which are coming to drill 5-km earth stratum,” – the report says.
