Germany to take part in upgrade of Ukrainian gas transportation system

Representatives of German business circles are interested in European integration of the Ukraine and are ready to extend investment projects in the country. In particular, it is a question of Ukrainian gas transportation system upgrade, Karl-Georg Wellmann, the member of Foreign Affairs Committee of Bundestag, stated, commenting on results of recent visit of the First Vice Prime Minister of the Ukraine Sergei Arbuzov to Germany.

“I’d like to give an example: an order to take part in the organization of the Ukrainian gas transportation system upgrade has been received by famous German concern Ferrostaal. Today this concern works with Ukrainian engineering company and I have a confirmation that 50% of the whole order within the project will be fulfilled by Ukrainian businessmen. And this means additional working places,” – Wellmann stated.
