Slovakian gas price for Ukraine to make up $340

The source, close to “Naftogaz Ukrainy”, stated that the reverse gas price from Slovakia to Ukraine via the “Voyany-Uzhgorod” pipeline might make up $340-350 per 1 thousand cubic meters, inclusive of $20 of expenses for gas transit and extra charges by the seller.
It is by $35-45 lower the price, suggested by “Gazprom” during the trilateral talks (EU, Russia, Ukraine) and by $20-30 less the price under the current contracts with Poland and Hungary.
“But the price is temporary. The discount is possible due to a reduction of exchange gas prices. Ukraine will be able to get gas from September 2014. But this volume is not enough for Ukraine,” the edition states.
