En+ has completed the deal on purchase of 40.29% of shares of Irkutskenergo from Inter RAO

​En+ group has completed the deal on the purchase of 40.29% of shares of Irkutskenergo PJSC from Inter RAO PJSC and Inter RAO Capital (a 100% affiliate of Inter RAO).

The buyer of share is “Telmamskaya water power plant” Ltd, affiliate of EuroSibEnergo, which is in the structure of En+Group. The amount of the deal made up 70 bln roubles. The payment of the deal was organized in  a few stages and will be held in monetary funds with the attraction of a syndicated loan issued by Sberbank and VTB.

The completion of the deal on the purchase of shares of Irkutskenergo will allow us to start the change of the structure into a single operational company. It will significantly strengthen the positions of En+ group, will provide access to the capital markets and will finally give the group an opportunity to realize its key investment projects. we are sure that En+ group will be among the leading energy companies of the world, the CEO of En+Group, M.
