The Ukraine increased gas reserves in the underground storages by 0.53%

Gas volume in the underground storages made up 8.697 billion cubic meters as of May 6, 2015 (+0.53%). According to GSE, the filling level of the storages increased up to 28.1% from 27.95% (8.651 bln cubic meters of gas) as of May 5, 2015.

The Ukraine started gas offtake from the storages since October 20, 2014 because of the start of heating season. This year, the Ukraine started to pump gas into gas storages. As V.Demchishin, Minister of Energy of the Ukraine stated in April 28, there has been injected over 600 million cubic metres of gas into the underground storages over the last 2 weeks.
