Georgia may resume gas supplies from Russia

The Georgian party may resume buying natural gas from Russia, the Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze stated.

Today Azerbaijan is the main natural gas supplier to Georgia. Earlier Georgia received the main part of gas from Russia, but refused Russian gas after the events of August, 2008.

“The country shouldn’t depend on one supplier that is Azerbaijan,” – Kaladze announced on the air of the television company Imedi on May, 6.
