Court collects $2.9 million and 2.4 million rubles from Mechel’s structures in favour of Sberbank

The Moscow Commercial Court has collected $2.9 million and 2.4 million rubles from structures of the largest Russian mining and metallurgical company Mechel at the suit of Sberbank, the court's decision says.

In particular, the court collected a penalty in the amount of 2.4 million rubles, and interest in the amount of $2.8 million jointly from Mechel, coal company Southern Kuzbass, Mechel Mining and Yakutugol under the credit agreement, which was signed in October 2012.
