"Yamal LNG" and the Belgian company signed an agreement on transshipment of LNG.

The "Yamal LNG" company and the Belgian "Fluxys" signed an agreement defining the parameters for cooperation in the field of the transshipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplied from the LNG plant, located on the Yamal Peninsula, to the Fluxys LNG terminal in Zeebrugge (Belgium), the press service of the Yamal company reported to the IA "Sever - Press".

"Yamal LNG" is building a plant to liquefy natural gas, commissioning the first phase of which is scheduled for 2017. The transshipment base in Europe is one of the most important elements of the supply chain that permits year-round delivery of LNG to markets in the Asia - Pacific region during periods of navigation along the Northern Sea Route in the eastern direction. LNG will be loaded from ice-class tankers to tankers of conventional type for delivery to customers at the Zeebrugge terminal.
