Total has been granted 3 hard-extraction oil sites in Yugra

Total has executed the licenses for hard-extraction oil exploration at 3 sites in Yugra. They are Eastern Kovenskoye, Tashinskoye and the third Lyaminsky sites of the Bazhenov suite. It will be Total Exploration Development Timano-Pechora that will perform geological exploration at the sites.
Total shares 20% in Yamal LNG. Novatek shares 60%, and CNPC shares 20%. The project presupposes creation of the LNG production center at the base of the South-Tambey deposit. The potential annual yield is over 27 billion cubic m of gas.
