Kazakhstan is considering the export of oil through Batumi in the case of sanctions against Russia.

The Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan is considering the possibility of transporting oil through the port of Batumi in the case of Western economic sanctions introduction against the Russian Federation, Uzakbai Karabalin, the head of MNG, stated on Monday.

"It’s a little bit more of a question for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, what will happen (in case of sanctions against Russia), but nevertheless we certainly can not just sit, relax and wait what will happen. In fact, it is in the mind of every professional, especially, of course, in the government agency.
