Gazprom doubts that the U.S. gas will replace Russian.

Sergei Kupriyanov, the official representative of the Russian gas monopoly "Gazprom", dwelled upon the intentions of the Ukrainian authorities to import gas from America and Europe. According to his statement, the prospect of such official Kiev intentions is not so optimistic, as Ukrainian leaders wish to present it.

Objective reasons for doubt.

As Kupriyanov reported, the immediate export of the American gas to Ukraine is not possible due to lack of "free resources" in the United States, the situation is  not expected to chane in the near future.

The Russian representative of the strategic company is convinced that the Ukrainian statements are nothing more than populism intended for the partial stabilization of shaky situation in the state. Such statements, according to Kupriyanov, are  only for political reasons, and will not influence the gas price, which "Gazprom" sets in the contracts for the export of natural gas.
