The ministries to study the request of the Russian Federation oil companies to change the oil tax.

The Government sent the oil companies application for study in the concerned ministries and departments asking them to set export duties on oil at 20% of the oil duties, a copy of the letter sent to the agencies is at the disposal of the "Prime" agency.

Earlier, the heads of Lukoil, "Gazpromneft" and "Tatneft" sent t a letter o Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev asking to withdraw oil from the category of dark petroleum products and set the export duties on oil at 20 % of the customs duty on crude oil.
