Tatneft to move to a new accounting format

Tatneft will publish financial results of 2012 under IAS for the first time, the Chief of the company’s Department of Financial Analysis, Alexei Spirenkov reported. From 1996, Tatneft has been publishing its accounting under US GAAP. The move of the company to new standards from 2013 is the proposal of the Russian Ministry of Finance to introduce the obligatory publication of quarterly consolidated financial accounting under IAS. Tatneft plans to publish its accounting-2012 under IAS on April, 5.
