Karachaganak gas might be directed to China in case of not reaching the price agreement with Russia

he Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, S. Mynbaev, admits the Karachaganak gas might be shipped to China from 2015 in the case the price agreement is not reached with Russia.
Speaking about gas, together with the settlement of our relations in the sphere of oil and oil products, another group is working on gas now. We can’t say we are fully satisfied with the cooperation with Russia on gas, though it works a lot. For example, the entire South of Kazakhstan is provided with gas on the account of swap-operations, by the Karachaganak gas of Gazprom, Mr. Mynbaev said.
