Gazprom: Gas supplies to Europe grew by almost 17% over the last year

In comparison with 2012, the gas supplies to Europe grew by 17% in December, and by 16.9 over the whole year, the Gazprom’s Information Department reported.

“Europe continues to show increased demand for Russian gas. Thus, on December 1 Gazprom supplied 518 million cubic meters to the non-CIS states, on December 2 – 532 million cubic meters, on December 3 – 537 million cubic meters and on December 4 – 538.3 million cubic meters. This is by almost 17% more than in the same days in December of the previous year,” – the Department reported.
