State Duma supported preferences for gas suppliers to China

The suggested by the Government of Russia amendments to the document which states the indexation of excise duties and tax maneuvers were supported by the Committee for Budget and Taxes of the State Duma of Russia.

The draft law directly concerns the mineral extraction tax as well as the property of organizations which participated in the Russian gas supply to China by the Power of Siberia. One of the suggested amendments presupposes the zero mineral extraction tax within the first 15 years of the deposits’ operation which are located fully or partially within the borders of the Irkutsk region and Yakutia.
