NLMK to pay 45% of its net profit as interim dividends

NLMK will resume the payment of interim dividends on an ongoing basis, NLMK’s president Oleg Bagrin reported to journalists.

According to him, the company paid the interim dividends until 2011, when it abandoned them because of thehigh debt burden.

As it was reported, in late September an extraordinary meeting of NLMK’s shareholders decided to pay the interim dividends for the first six months of 2014 at the rate of 0.88 rubles per share. The total amount of the dividend payments will be about $150 million, or 45% of NLMK Group’s net profit under US GAAP in January-June.
