OAO “Gazprom" and OAO “Rosneft” did not meet the expectations of Russian industry

The annual international conference Neftegazshelf-2012 will take place at a hotel “Radisson Slavyanskaya” on December 6th. There they will consider the experience of LUKOIL on cooperation with the Russian industry. Owing to the orders of the oil company Russian industry got an investment impulse. The governor of the Astrakhan region A.Zhilkin asserted to TV channel “Russia 24”: “The economic diversification programme is being realized, but due to cooperation with LUKOIL the region got a large number of orders.”

In November 2007, OOO “Gasflot” (a 100% affiliate of OAO “Gazprom”) and OAO “Vyborg ship-building plant” signed a contract on a construction of 2 semi-submersible drilling rigs (SSDU) for drilling of development wells at the Schtokman deposit. The agreement is valued at about $2 billion. The plant, instead of getting an impulse for its development having got large funds, was declared  bankrupt.
