Unipro, former E.ON Russia, keeps payment of dividends

​Unipro will keep the dividend payment despite of the expenditure on the repair of a block of the Berezovsky state district power plant, the CEO M. Shirokov said.

It influenced on the payment of dividends now as we paid not 100% but 80%. We will see in future, it is difficult to say now. But we will anyway save the dividends payment, he said.

The shareholders of E.ON Russia approved the payment of dividends-2015 at the volume of 12.4 bln roubles or 80% of net profit under RAS. It was decided to leave 3.1 bln roubles at the company’s disposal.

In H1 E.ON Russia (current Unipro) made 2.09 bln roubles of net loss under IAS against 3.6 bln roubles of net profit in H1 2015 due to the accident at the third energy block of the Berezovsky state district power plant in February 2016 and that was followed by the decrease of a part of assets.

The repair of the third energy block of the Berezovsky state district power plant will be over in 2018.
