Belarus stopped spot fuel supply to the Ukraine due to oil deficit

The Belarus oil producers don’t ship products by contracts on the same day basis.

From Monday, July 4th, the Mozyr oil refinery terminated the supplies on the spot conditions. Now the resources are sold only on the TERM conditions (long-term contracts with the validity of at least a month).

Naftan oil refinery announced of the absence of offer of K-5 gasoline in July for the Ukraine.

Now the spot deals can be signed only via the “Belarus oil trade house” but the volume of offer is also restricted there.

The changes are explained by the oil deficit in Belarus due to the reduction of raw materials supply from Russia. According to the forecasts in the market, such a situation will stay for at least the end of Q3.

Russia planned to reduce oil supply to Belarus by 5 mln tons until the end of 2016.
