Transport operation on delivery of main equipment for Yakutsk state district power station-2 completed

The third and fourth gas turbine plants, as well as accessories for the Yakutsk state district power station-2 (GRES-2) have arrived at the construction site of the station. The first two gas turbines were delivered to Yakutsk in mid-June. Thus, the transport operation for the delivery of four sets of gas turbines for the power plant under construction in Yakutsk has been ended.

In early April, a vessel with gas turbines, manufactured by General Electric, left the port of Houston (Texas, USA), and arrived at the port of Vladivostok in the middle of May. From there the gas turbine sets (gas turbines, turbo-generators, air compressors and accessories) were delivered to Yakutsk by cars. The total length of the route from Houston to Yakutsk made up 21 650 km.
