Russian Government allows Abramovich to develop Baimskaya area

The Russian Government has allowed the company Baimskaya (a part of Roman Abramovich's Millhouse) to carry out geological exploration and development of non-ferrous and precious metals within the Baimskaya area in Chukotka, which includes a subsoil area of ​​federal significance - the porphyry copper deposit Peschanka; the corresponding decree was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev .

The State Commission on Mineral Reserves has registered the reserves of the Baimskaya area of the Peschanka deposit on C1 + C2 categories:
