Krestovsky site’s gold hasn’t attracted subsoil users

​The auction for the geological study, exploration and extraction of hardrock gold at the Krestovsky site in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area hasn’t been held due to the absence of applications, is said in the tender documentation.

The object is located in the Eastern slope of the Main Ural ridge, in the area of formation of flat horizon with the absolute rates of 300-900 m and relative height of 300-500 m. The area is 23.4 sq km. The forecast P2 hardrock gold resources make up 24 tons. The license is valid for 25 years, start-up payment is 1.5 mln roubles.
