There was put into operation a unit for the production of 133 thousand tons of benzene per year at the Aturau oil refinery. The value of the project makes up $1 billion 40 million. There will work 277 men.
The project has been implemented in cooperation with Chinese experts from the company “SINOPEC Engineering.” “The complex was created in the framework of the plan to build world-class petrochemical complexes in Kazakhstan. There was built gasoline reformer with benzene extraction block and the unit for the production of aromatic hydrocarbons.
