Revenue of ferrous metals export fell by a quarter

The metallurgical enterprises of the Ukraine in January-May 2016 reduced the revenue from the export of ferrous metals by 25.5% against January-May 2015 to $2 bln 713.679 mln (in January-May 2015 - $3 bln 640.865 mln).
According to the customs statistics, the stake of ferrous metals was 19.81% of the total volume of revenue from the export of goods against 23.53% in January-May 2015.
In May the revenue from the export of ferrous metals made up $641.377 mln.
The Ukraine in January-May 2016 increased the import of ferrous metals by 14.3% to $288.652 mln. In May it reached $71.078 mln.
In January-May 2016 the Ukraine reduced the export of metal goods by 38.5% to $261.786 mln. In May the shipment value made up $237.296 mln.
