The decision on the expansion of Karachaganak to be taken in 2017

The decision on an expansion of Karachaganak oil-and-gas condensate deposit in West Kazakhstan region will be taken in 2017. Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan K.Bozumbaev said.
“To date, there discussed concept of further development of Karachaganak with an increase of gas pumping volume at the deposit to prolong the period of stable production of liquid hydrocarbons. There carried out work on optimization of the concept together with contractors to increase the country’s revenue. The decision will be ready by 2017,” KazInform reports, citing Bozumbaev.
