"LUKOIL" to build a new oil pipeline in Iraq in exchange for the preferences on recovery of the expenses.

"LUKOIL" has agreed with the Government of Iraq on the accelerated recovery of the expenses, invested in the development of the "West Qurna 2" field and the construction of a new pipeline to the export hub in the Persian Gulf, the statement of the company informs.

Today in Baghdad Vagit Alekperov, the president of "Lukoil", and the authorized representatives of the state North and South Oil Companies of Iraq in the presence of Abdelkarim Lueybi, the Iraqi Oil Minister, signed a supplementary agreement to the contract for the development and production of oil in the "West Qurna-2" field.
