South-Korean POSCO decides against the development of iron-ore deposit in Uzbekistan

South Korean POSCO has decided againstabandoned from a participation in the development of the titanium magnetite ores deposit Tebinbulak in an autonomous republic of Karakalpakstan (north-west of Uzbekistan), the source in the government stated to RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

“The Government got a letter from POSCO, stating it decided against taking part in the project, as they take it as unprofitable one,” the source said.
