SOCAR-AQS starts drilling new well on the Caspian Sea

Drilling company SOCAR-AQS started drilling a new well at the deposit “Western Absheron” in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, they stated in the company to Trend on Wednesday.
“The drilling of the well No26 at “Western Absheron” will take place from a fixed offshore platform No20. The project depth of the well makes up 740 meters. The well will be drilled up to the horizon of the productive Kirmakinskaya formation-3,” they stated in the company.
