Revenue in foreign currency from the export of Ukrainian steel fell by more than a third

​The metallurgical enterprises of the Ukraine in Jan-April 2015 reduced the revenue from the export of ferrous metals by 37% against Jan-April 2014 to $2 bln 913.724 mln.

According to the Customs Statistics, the stake of ferrous metals was 23.25% of the total volume of income from the export of goods against 24.02% in Jan-April 2014.

In April 2015 the revenue from the export of ferrous metals made up $699.370 mln while in March it was $825.064 mln.

In Jan-April 2015 the Ukraine reduced the import of these products by 55.7% to $192.681 mln, in April the import made up $52.065 mln.

The Ukraine in Jan-April 2015 reduced the export of metal products by 41.1% to $341.847 mln. In April the export made up $91.891 mln. The import of metal products fell by 48.1% to $151.828 mln in Jan-April, in April the import value was $37.449 mln.
