Gazprom and PetroVietnam to drill the first deep well at the shelf of Vietnam in 2015

On May 6th 2015 the meeting of A. Miller and head of PetroVietnam, N. Suan Shon, took place at Gazprom.

The participants discussed the 2-party partnership on the development of hydrocarbons resources. The joint work at the blocks ## 129-132 of the continental shelf of Vietnam was discussed. At these blocks the interpretation of geological-geophysical materials was completed, engineering-geological and groundwater exploration works were held at the points of wells’ foundation.

For H2 2015 the parties planned to start drilling of the exploratory well at the block #129. It will be the first deep-water well at the shelf of Vietnam, sea deepness in the area of drilling exceeds 1.6 thousand m.

The parties discussed the conditions of realization of projects of development of the Nagumanovsky oil and gas condensate deposit in the Orenburg region and North-Pur gas condensate deposit in Yamal.

The agreement on the conditions of joint realization of projects of development of these deposits was signed in November 2014.
