Ukrainian court gives the pipeline to Russian "Transneft".
The Economic Court of Rivne region recognized the ownership of the Russian joint-stock company "Transneft" on the main oil pipeline, located on the balance of its Ukrainian "daughter" – the "PrikarpatZapadtrans" company, ITAR -TASS informs referring to the decision of the Regional Court, which is at the disposal of editorial news agencies. Earlier, the court ruled in favor of the Ukrainian side, but eventually decided to renegotiate it.
"PrikarpatZapadtrans", which is a subsidiary of "Southwest Transnefteprodukt", included in the "Transneft" group, is a specialized enterprise for the transportation of light petroleum products from refineries in Russia and Belarus through a system of pipelines and laterals to large customers, such as Ukraine, and beyond, particularly in Hungary and Latvia. The "PrikarpatZapadtrans" objects are located in seven regions of Ukraine, namely Zhitomir, Khmelnitsk, Rivne, Volyn, Ternopil, Lviv and Transcarpathian. The length of the pipelines is more than 1200 km, and the capacity of storage tanks for petroleum products storage is more than 124 thousand cubic meters. The annual volume of pumping oil products is 1.7 million tons.
