Russia reduced coal production by 10% in April

Russian coal-producing companies reduced hard coal production by 9.8% to 26 million 765 thousand tons in April 2014 compared to April 2013. It is said in the documents of the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy sector, ITAR-TASS reports.
Coal production is down by 1.8% to 113 million tons in January-April 2014 year-on-year.
