Gazprom has extracted first oil at Chayandy, Yakutia

 Gazprom has extracted the first oil at the Chayandy deposit in Yakutia. Now the company is preparing the construction of the production wells at the deposit, Gazprom Production Noyabrsk reports. In 2014, the enterprise is going to re-activate the deposit and to develop one exploration well and extract the first oil. After that, the oil will be examined carefully; first of all, it will be tested for its physical and chemical peculiarities. They leased the well 321-14 that had been drilled in the USSR era. The research resulted in an oil inflow and then the well was blocked with extracted oil. Oil was transported to the settlement of Vitim and tested for its possible use as fuel at the community boilerhouse  They revealed that this oil had some specific composition. It had a high salt content and needed special preparations.
