Rosneft illegally burnt 380 million cubic m of associated oil gas in Yugra

The Yugra nature protection prosecutor’s office has inspected execution of the subsoil legislation in the use of associated oil gas and its utilization in the area by fuel and energy enterprises. They revealed that in 2012 Rosneft irrationally used associated oil gas extracted at the Petelinskoye, Sredneugutskoye, Prirazlomnoye, Fainskoye and Malobalykskoye oil and gas deposits. In 2012, Rosneft illegally burnt 380 million cubic m of associated oil gas at the deposits.
