BP invests over $40 billion in oil and gas projects of Azerbaijan

Over $40 billion have been invested within oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan, implemented by BP, the company’s Head Gordon Birrell announced today during the signing of agreement on prolongation of cooperation between BP and National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to him, the company is a participant of large energy projects in the country, particularly, the project of development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli sea deposits block.
