Medvedev offers Zharkov as president of Alrosa

The Deputy Head of the Russian State Depository for Precious Metals Andrei Zharkov is an official candidate for president of Alrosa, said the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the meeting with the head of Yakutia Egor Borisov.

At the meeting, Medvedev said that he signed a directive to representatives of the Russian Federation’s interests for to participation in the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Alrosa. In it he makes Zharkov a candidate for election to the position of Alrosa’s president for a period of 3 years, the local mass media reports.
