Nadra Ukrainy and NAFTA agreed on extraction in the West of the country

​NAK Nadra Ukrainy and NAFTA a.s. (Slovakia) have discussed the directions of cooperation on the rise of hydrocarbons extraction in the Ukraine. The parties signed a memorandum of joint activity in the Western part of the country, on the territory of activity of “Zakhhidurkgeologiya”, an affiliate of NAK.

Nadra Ukrainy stated the necessity to create good conditions for foreign investors to work and achieve a positive result in the first investment project of the countries.

In 2014 Nadra Ukrainy reduced gas extraction by 2.3 times against 2013 – to 10.8 mln cubic m. In Jan 2015 the company increased gas extraction by 23.2% against Jan 2014 – to 0.8 mln cubic m.

In 2004-2006 Nadra Ukrainy produced 450-500 mln cubic m of gas yearly.

Nadra Ukrainy was founded in October 2000 aiming for the rise of efficiency of managing over the state enterprise. 100% of shares of Nadra Ukrainy belong to the Government.
