The energy strategy of Russia considers oil export decline and gas export growth by 2035

The energy strategy of the Russian Federation considers a decline in oil exports by 21% to 189 million tons a year by 2035 against the figures in 2012, according to the basic scenario. It is said about in the draft of the energy strategy, which is available to ITAR-TASS.

The optimistic variant of the strategy considers oil export growth by 6.2% to 254 million tons a year. The optimistic scenario also considers gas export increase by 1.6 times up to 360 billion cubic meters. The basic scenario considers an increase of export 1.4 fold to 301 billion cubic meters. Gas exports made up 215 billion cubic meters in 2012, goes from the energy strategy.
