BP to remain the key foreign investor in Azerbaijan.

At the peak of the second stage of "Shah Deniz" gas condensate field development in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian the daily investment is going to reach $ 30 million. This was stated by Gordon Birrell, the regional director of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, at a meeting with "Khazar" university students. According to him, this is a huge project which involves the construction of the land and sea infrastructure, as well as pipelines export for the future production shipping.
