Qatar is not interested in participation in the Yamal LNG any more

Qatar is not interested in share in the Yamal LNG project and withdrew from the corresponding negotiations with the Novatek’s Management.
The Qatar Petroleum International’s official representative Ahmed Abdulkader Al-Ahmed stated the completion of Qatar’s negotiations on participation in the Yamal LNG to the agency Reuters, the RBK transmits. “We have considered the possibility to join the Yamal LNG and, finally, decided to refuse it,” – A. Al-Ahmed said. The QPI’s representative didn’t voice the details and reasons of this solution.
