Ministry of Energy to start optimization of the cost of the expansion of the capacity at the Tengiz deposit by the end of the year

Production expansion project at the Tengiz deposit, which is developed in the Aturau region by “Tengizshevroil”  LLP, will be optimized, KAZINFORM reports.

There carried out an operation on the optimization of the project in the context of reduction of the cost. We will start decision making on an approval of the project and its appraisal by the end of the year. The question is about the optimization of the cost of the expansion. It is necessary to minimize purchases, contractors, to take away intermediary agencies. The project is to be highly profitable.
