Russian Government to discuss maintenance of duties on oil products for Belarus in 2014

During the meeting on Thursday, the Russian Government will discuss an issue of prolongation of the current regime of oil and oil products export customs duties payment by Belarus in 2014, documents for the meeting of the Cabinet report.

A protocol between the Russian and Belarusian Governments on prolongation of agreement on procedure for the payment and entry of export customs duties during export of oil and certain categories of products, made of it, from Belarus out of the Customs Union, dated December of 2012, is planned to be signed. Belarus receives duty-free oil from Russia within the Customs Union, but transfers an export duty on oil products, made of this oil, to the Russian budget. The draft protocol provides for agreement prolongation for 2014, the documents say.
