Shortage of AI-92 in Almaty is not connected with accident at Pavlodar petrochemical plant

The shortage of the AI-92 octane petrol in Almaty is not associated with the recent accident at Pavlodar petrochemical plant. The fire at the plant occurred on October, 25th. Because of this, the production of the AI-92 octane petrol was reduced. But mostly the accident affected the Pavlodar market, astanatv.kz reports.

The production of the AI-92 octane petro at the Almaty market decreased to a lesser extent. According to officials, the Pavlodar petrochemical plant supplied by about two thousand tons of petrol less to markets of Pavlodar and Astana. But it was the fault of two of the six suppliers of crude oil, and not because of the fire.
