Petrol to be spilled on the roads.
Fuel prices could grow by 14-15%.
Next year the state could raise the excise tax on fifth grade fuel by 1 rouble per liter - Moscow governors who need funds for regional road funds demanded that. As a result, according to the estimations of "the Kommersant" gasoline in the retail may increase by 14-15% within a year. The oil producers do not like the idea, too: from their perspective the government is punishing the companies that timely met the requirements of modernizing the refineries.
As the market sources told "the Kommersant", the State Duma deputies are preparing to amend the bill on the tax manoeuvre in the oil industry, which is being prepared for its second reading. Today the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxation will discuss the amendments. "Their point is that the fifth grade fuel will be subject to an additional excise duty at the rate of 1 rouble per liter", - one of the interlocutors of "the Kommersant" stated. According to the sources of "the Kommersant", the decision "was made at the very top", "although it is unlikely that the oil companies and the relevant agencies – the RF Ministry of Finance and the RF Ministry of Energy - will support it". The ministries do not comment.
