Germany is about to buy more gas than coal

Germany maps out to buy more gas than coal. It is said about in the “green book”, an official governmental report, in which there suggested measures on the restriction of coal use for power generation.

The Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany has published plans on the gradual reduction of coal consumption and a natural gas purchase increase within the framework of power generation system development strategy in Germany. The report serves as guidelines and aimed at the discussion of ways of the energy system of Germany development in the government and the generating sector. So, the Government demonstrates its intentions on searching the possibilities for the reduction of coal in the structure of power generation, “Vesti.Economika” reports.
