Oil production in Russia has reached maximum level since the fall of the Soviet Union

In October oil production in Russia reached maximum level since the fall of the Soviet Union and made up 10.59 million barrels a day.

To date, Russia is the world leading producer of oil, Reuters writes.

In September the oil production made up 10.53 million barrels a day.

Natural gas production is also up. In October the figure increased by 14% and made up 2.02 billion cubic meters a day.
