The Ukraine imported 8.2 bln cubic m of gas in 2015

​The Ukraine increased gas volumes at its underground gas storages up to 15.8 bln cubic m.

Gas imports in September made up 1.2 bln cubic m.

According to Ukrtransgas, the rates of gas loading in September 2015 are by 30% higher than in September 2014.

In total in 2015 the Ukraine’s storages were loaded by 8.2 bln cubic m of gas.

On September 25th 2015 the Ukraine, Russia and EU Commission signed a protocol by the so-called winter package of fuel supply.

According to the document, the Ukraine will receive 2 bln cubic m of gas.

The EU Commission will issue $500 mln for gas purchase from Russia.

Russia will grant a $20 discount per thousand cubic m.
