Value of Stroytransgaz’s potential contracts on South Stream project to exceed $7 billion

The value of Stroytransgaz’s potential contracts on the South Stream project will exceed $7 billion, analysts, interviewed by the ITAR-TASS, believe.

In particular, according to the analyst of Raiffeisen Bank, Andrei Polishuk, only the cost of the construction of gas pipeline branch from South Stream in Macedonia, on which Stroytransgaz is going to come to an agreement with the Macedonian Government, is estimated at $750 million. It was noted earlier that the cost of the construction of the Bulgarian and Serbian sections of South Stream, to which Stroytransgaz also contends, is about $6.6 billion.
