The Ministry of Industry and Trade expects Rosneft, Gazprom and Novatek to prepare orders for the construction in the Far East “Zvezda” shipyard by 2018, Minister of Industry and Trade, D. Manturov, said.
“Speaking about the current situation at Zvezda, in 2016 metal cutting will start at the block of corpus production, and after the reception of the descender unit in 2018 the first order should be produced there. So by 2018 a package of order will be ready which is being formed now by Gazprom, Novatek and primarily by Rosneft that holds the main package of shares of Zvezda”, he said.
